Piano Party at International House of RI

On Saturday, October 19th at 2pm, International House of Rhode Island is hosting a most unusual fundraising event: a birthday party for their 100-year-old upright piano, with me at the keyboard!

Rather than a piano recital, this will be a sing-along party with some solos thrown in for good measure - and yes, all repertoire will be from 1924 or very close to that year, so expect some classic popular songs from Tin Pan Alley and Broadway, along with a few surprises! Extra copies of the sheet music will be available for anyone who wants to join in the singing. (And if you don't read music and/or don't sing, that's quite all right too!)

International House is located at 8 Stimson Ave. in Providence, RI. We're expecting overflow into the adjoining room, so if you want to be in the piano room, be sure to grab a ticket ahead of time at the above link. 1920s attire is encouraged but not required.
